It may have only been two months, but this semester has had me feeling overwhelmed. At this point, I am burnt out. Spring Break could not have come at a better time.

The only thing is that now that the break is here, it feels like I am putting my life on pause for a hot minute. There’s nothing wrong with that, but I am just not used to taking a break because I am used to being constantly busy .

So to take a much deserved break is difficult for me. Because  to me the break is free time to get ahead of my work and assignments.

This is why I hope to challenge myself this spring break to do as the title implies and take a break.

This Spring break I am going home to Southern California. After spending most of this past semester indoors studying and working, I really want to be outdoors, enjoy nature, and finally take a breather.

I hope to spend some time at the beach and maybe even spend a day at a local park. I  also look forward to spending time with my family that I love so much, because I’ve missed them since  I’ve been attending college out of state.

Overall I can’t wait to take a breather, recharge for the remainder of the semester, and make a game plan for what’s next in my academic, social, and personal life.
