This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Saint Mary's chapter.

1. Incorporate florals into your outfits.

Whether its a daisy necklace or a bright floral print, florals will remind you that May flowers are on their way.

2. Layer cardigans and jackets so you can leave your winter coat behind.

While it may be too cold for t-shirts, you can stay warm by laying cardigans, flannels, and light jackets.

3. Incorporate lighter colors.

Even if you’re still wearing your favorite black winter sweaters, incoporating pastel earrings can brighten your look.

4. Incorporate beanies and scarves into your look.

Even though the weather is starting to warm, scarves and beanies can keep you both warm and fasionable as the temperature slowly rises.

5. Layer dresses with winter staples.

Incorporating spring and summer staples into your winter wardbrobe can add some spring flair to your winter wardrobe.
