“Hot Girl Summer” seems to have been the phrase of the summer. Megan Thee Stallion’s fans coined the phrase inspired from her songs. “It’s about women and men being unapologetically them, just having a good-ass time, hyping up their friends, doing you,” she explained to The Root

If you’re one of the thousands of girls following this motivation, or just someone ready for change, here’s 5 ways to keep that momentum going through the semester:

1-Figure Out Your Goals for the Semester

Having a list of things you want to accomplish this semester will serve as constant motivation!

2 – Make Time for Your Friends

You probably haven’t seen a lot of your friends all summer, so make sure you take the time to catch up with those who matter most to you.

3 – Stay Organized!

You want to do everything, and you can, as long as you make sure to stay organized and manage your time well!

4- Practice Self-Care (duh!)

This goes without saying, but the beginning of a new year is extra stressful. Make sure to take time to relax and adjust to all the changes.

5 – Have Fun!

Don’t be afraid to try new things! You really only live once, so make the most of each day.
