Like every year, many devils, angels, and aliens walked the streets of campus during Halloweek. The classic costumes were plentiful, including 200 men in Peaky Blinders costumes and 100 women as cowboy aliens, but I caught sight of some extra creative ones that deserve a shout-out.
1. Hormone Monsters
For those who have seen Big Mouth, this costume was immediately recognizable. Maurice and Connie paraded around campus, horn and all, and absolutely killed it.
2. The Last Season of Game of Thrones
This was another TV themed costume that made me laugh. I caught sight of someone wearing a trash bag and a sign which read “the last season of Game of Thrones.” I’ve got to applaud this man for calling out a universal truth – that last season truly sucked.
3. Us
I found the movie Us to be terrifying, but this costume to be incredible. Some people killed it (no pun intended) with red jumpsuits and scissors this weekend.
