Taylor Swift has released seven albums across a few different genres. From country to pop, every album features songs that are guaranteed to make your day shine a little more. Swift was sixteen when she released her first studio album, titled Taylor Swift and has been releasing albums and touring ever since.

Here are five songs (in no particular order) to brighten up your day.

1.) “Love Story,” from Fearless, Swift’s second studio album, released in 2008

Let’s be real, this song is cute and sweet and will transport you right back to middle school. This song is a nostalgia bomb.

2.) “Fearless,” also from Fearless

Another nostalgia bomb! This song is another throwback hit that will have you up and dancing around your room like a maniac. It always brightens my day and is a song that I know I will love forever.

3.) “22,” from Red, released in 2012

The closer I get to being 22 myself the harder I go to this song. This is another jam that just makes you want to dance and can always be found on my nights out playlist.

4.) “Welcome to New York,” the first song from 1989, released in 2014

On days where I find myself dreaming about the future, this song will always creep its way into my playlist. It leaves you feeling hopeful and ambitious, ready to take on the world.

5.) “Shake it Off,” also from 1989

How could I not include the ultimate day brightening song? This song makes me feel confident and like a total boss. Whenever I have a bad day, I blast this song to remind me bad things are temporary.
