Get to know one of our amazing Her Campus writers, Devon Lewars! She is a sophomore history major, and she loves music! You will always find her smiling, laughing, or hugging her friends (she gives the best hugs)! Here is an exclusive interview with her:
- Name 3 fun facts about yourself!

1. She can fake cry on command! She does it in her acting class because she has a theatre minor.
2. She names everything important in her life, including her stuffed animals, car, figurines, and plants. She finds it fun to name them. Also, she has a figurine of one of the characters from Peppa Pig she named.
3. Her favorite food is zucchini boats! You carve out the zucchini and add meat, cheese, seasoning, and tomatoes in it. Then, you put it in the oven and add more cheese. Bam, a delicious zucchini boat!
- What do you like to do in your free time?

Devon likes to hang out with her best friend and roommate, Hannah. You will frequently find her listening to, singing, and playing music for Millersville University’s radio station, WIXQ. She also loves to eat snacks, especially Popping Jalepeño Doritos!
- If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is the one essential item you would bring?

She would bring a stuffed animal to comfort her, specifically a teddy bear or one of the squishy plushes from Five Below.
- What is your life mantra?

- What is your most embarrassing moment?

“I can’t really think of a specific embarrassing moment, but whenever I laugh, I snort and sound like a crazy person!”
- What is the best life advice you could give your high school self?

“It’s going to be so hard, but you’re still alive so don’t worry.”
- What is one food you refuse to eat?

Devon refuses to eat calamari.
- What does your morning routine consist of?

When Devon has an early class, her routine consists of her sitting in her bed for awhile, going to the bathroom, brushing her teeth, throwing on a sweatshirt, and running out the door! When she has a more productive day and more time, she wakes right up, goes to the bathroom, puts on a well-put-together outfit and mascara, and leaves for class!
- What music do you like to listen to?

Devon loves to listen to K-POP, Indie, Pop, Alternative Rock, and 80’s music! Her favorite band is Imagine Dragons. She especially loves their song “Summer” and their album Smoke and Mirrors.
- What’s your major and career goals?

Her major is history, and she recently switched over from being undecided. Her dream job is to be a historical interpreter and reenactor at Williamsburg, VA or Jamestown, VA.
