Disney+ is the streaming service you’ve been waiting for all your life, and it’s finally here! After its launch on November 12, the streaming service already hooked over 10 million subscribers. To put this in perspective, it took Netflix a little under three years to reach more than 10 million members. You may be asking what makes this new streaming service so special, and I’m here to tell you all about it!

For starters, Disney+ offers shows and movies that are perfect for any age. It includes movies from Disney’s “vault” like The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp and even Fantasia. You also get access to movies from Disney’s partners likes Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and even 20th Century Fox. Personally, I am most excited about shows like Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody so I can re-watch the shows I loved during my childhood. (Don’t even get me started on Camp Rock and High School Musical!) While I am watching more of Disney’s original content, I know a lot of people, especially adults, are excited about the new Star Wars series, The Mandalorian and National Geographic shows and documentaries. Even if you don’t have kids or aren’t one yourself anymore, Disney+ still has an unlimited amount of content that you are likely to remember and enjoy now.

Not only is Disney+ filled with your favorite past shows and memories, but it also comes at a reasonable cost. It is so reasonable that even the most broke college students (me, for example), can buy it. Also, if you’re a Verizon Unlimited customer, you can get access to Disney+ for free for a year! Even after your free subscription or trial runs out, the cost of Disney+ is only $6.99 a month, making it one of the cheapest streaming services available. Disney didn’t stop there though: the multi-million-dollar company also said that it will bundle with Hulu and ESPN Plus at $12.99/month, which is the same cost as the most popular Netflix plan in the US according to CNET. You might even consider dropping your cable plan with these deals like this.

What are you waiting for? Go reminisce about “the good old days” and watch your favorite childhood shows. Do whatever you have to do to get Disney+, even if you have to beg your mom to buy it for you or get your boyfriend to share his password. Disney+ is definitely worth all the hype it’s receiving.
