Valentine’s Day is by far my favorite holiday. Right after it is Halloween. But not a lot of people like Valentine’s Day. Maybe it’s because they are single or maybe it brings back bad memories. But Valentine’s day is not always about the romance side of it. So here are the reasons I love Valentine’s Day.

My parents always got me something for Valentine’s day. It would be a stuffed animal and of course chocolate. That’s just one memory I always think during this time of the year. I am definitely going to continue the tradition by getting my future kids gifts and sweets on Valentine’s Day.

Store Decorations

The store decorations are the most important part of Valentine’s Day. As soon as New Years is over the stores turn pink and red. You see hearts, flowers and stuffed animals everywhere. Red and pink might be my favorite color because of that.

Valentine’s Day is the perfect way to spoil yourself. Get your nails done or by yourself chocolate and flowers. Buy some cute clothes or new shoes. Treat yourself.
