Can’t decide on what show to start next? With so many streaming services available now it can be overwhelming to decide on a new show – so you just settle on watching The Office for the fifth time. If you ever find yourself struggling with this dilemma, your choice of college major may give you a hint to what your next go-to show is. Here’s some show recommendations based on your college major:

English

Sherlock: This show brings that classic Sherlock Holmes series of novels and short stories by Sir Conan Doyle into the modern day, and is perfect for lovers of old-school detective fiction.

The Wire: This show analyzes the relationship between the police officers and citizens in Baltimore, Maryland. Each season takes the perspective of a different institution and realistically portrays urban life and drug use. Mad Men follows its characters and depicts both domestic life in the era as well as the impact of the societal changes that take place during the fifties, sixties, and early seventies.
