Autumn, arguably the best season of the year, is finally here. Although it is getting colder, there are still plenty of things you can do during the fall with your significant other. Short on ideas? I’m here to offer you five cute and simple fall ideas that you and your significant other can try out this fall!

Picnic

I know, it’s getting cold, why would anyone want to have a date outside? But trust me, fall picnics are where it’s at. The colorful fallen leaves make the perfect scenery and a nice, warm meal will surely hit the spot. To liven things up, bring a laptop to watch some movies or even a few games. Lastly, pack some hot chocolate and a couple blankets and get cozy!

Pumpkin Patch

Visiting a pumpkin patch during the fall is a must, and it’ll be even more enjoyable with your significant other. Rather than buying pumpkins from the store, it’s more exciting to go to a patch and pick some out yourself. If you’re lucky, the pumpkin patch might have a hay ride or some cider to taste test to liven up the day. Afterwards, you can use the pumpkins you picked out as decorations or do some fun crafts with them!

Decorate and Carve Pumpkins

Got some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch? Well, now you can decorate and carve them however you like. Grab your significant other and spend the day carving pumpkins or painting them however you like. These make the perfect decorations for you home and it gives you the opportunity to spend some time with your significant other.

Apple Picking

Apple picking is one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of fall. Late September to October is apple season, so grab your significant other and head on over to a nearby orchard to pick some apples. It’s a beautiful and fun experience, and you can snap some cute photos while you’re there. This simple activity allows you to be outdoors and enjoy something simple yet fun with your other half.

Baking

If you and your significant other are feeling a night in, baking is a great yet simple date idea. Even better, you can bake some yummy fall desserts that will really put you in the autumn mood. Making your own candy apples is fun and tasty, and you can use the apples you got from apple picking! If you’re not into candy apples, there are plenty of other fall desserts to try out such as pies, cookies, and everything pumpkin flavored. Don’t be afraid to get a little messy and enjoy the one-on-one time with your date.

Now that fall is here, I advise everyone to take advantage of it. Just because it is getting colder doesn’t mean you can’t still go out and have some fun. I hope you try out some of these cute fall date ideas and really enjoy yourself and the time spent with your other half.
