It’s no secret that homework is a hard thing to do, and usually people will make study groups,
but now that COVID has hit, it’s not as easy to meet without the fear of catching something, but
here I am presenting a solution to that. A document on a service where you are able to share
and edit at the same time as the other people. Both Google Docs and Microsoft Word are
currently able to do this. This has definitely helped my studying as I do have this with one of my
classmates for my British Literature class. We have multiple documents for multiple
assignments. Our teacher usually assigns a lot of work so what we do is start a document and
then assign which part of the assignment to do and we both section off parts of the document
and edit it with what we have done so far. We discuss what we have both presented (sometimes
we call or have a Teams meeting to make things easier to explain) and from there we both write
our separate assignments, and then send them to each other to help edit and post the final
product to await our grade. On the assignments that we have done this way, neither of us gotten
a grade lower than 90, now I’m not saying that this is the end all be all of studying while still
socially distancing, but it’s a way to study in real time with each other at a safe distance.
