After doing a lot of small things over the last couple months, looking back it all added up to where I am today. While I cannot guarantee perfect results, I am hoping this will inspire you. I believe each one of us has value, and that we can literally live our best life! Here are some things I did this year that I truly think helped me get to where I am today.

Let’s go back to our nostalgic roots and start journaling/writing in our diaries again. I started writing notes to myself whenever the moment sparked me. Sometimes it’s good to get these thoughts out, especially if you are inside a lot more now.
- Clear Your Head

My mind takes over so much sometimes. When I feel congested with too many thoughts and ideas, I like to take a moment and do nothing. This can also come in the form of a walk or a drive. Genuinely take the time to get away from everything. Even if that means playing wave sounds on YouTube while laying down.
- Stop Selling Yourself Short

Even though I am short in size, I continue to try and make sure I do not sell myself short anymore. I think it is easy for most people to downplay their value or their abilities. However, when it comes to the ‘real world’ you have to market yourself. You are smart, intelligent, and worthy of an awesome career. Say it enough times to yourself and you will soon believe it. It can be hard to do this, but it is so important to the process.
- Create A Vision Board

I realized that I made two vision boards throughout the year. Even though one was a school assignment, it had some truth to it. I think vision boards are great for visual learners or anyone who might need to see the bigger picture.
- Find a Creative Outlet

I love social media a lot. However, it did not help me get closer to finding my purpose till I started using it correctly. I started writing more, as my creative outlet. This really helped me get my honest and vulnerable thoughts out into the universe, and it ultimately was the reason I got my job. If your future career is heavily reliant on connections, writing might be the best place to start. It was for me.
Once you open yourself to the universe, the good mostly, things will fall into place. Try to let go of what you cannot control and do the best with what you have. Nothing happens overnight, it can take a long time to find your dream job, and that is truly okay. You are worthy of all the good things this life has to offer. You got this!
