For International Women’s Day, NCSU’s Platform Magazine and Her Campus Chapter are teaming up in order to further get the word out about both groups!
Platform Magazine is “a fashion and culture magazine, a creative community and a voice for artists based out of NC State University.” This is an incredible outlet for specifically those enrolled in NCSU’s renowned college of design. Members write articles for the magazine and blog. There are several members of Her Campus who also write for Platform.
Additionally, Platform also has a podcast involving topics such as “Can Music Influence Fashion,” “Body Positivity” and opinions on fashion. As President, I was invited as a guest on this podcast with Vice President, Hannah Moxey. We spoke about how we started Her Campus, the writers, and the values of the group.
For International Women’s Day, both Her Campus and Platform are posting on social media about the other group. Through this collaboration, we hope to further spread how popular our groups are on campus and gain writers for both groups.
