Are you someone that loves to jazz up their space with cute knick-knacks and decor? Well, candles are one great way to add some pop to your bedroom or home, along with filling your space with a nice scent for whatever mood you are in. Recently, I’ve been buying candles from Bath and Body Works (when there’s a sale, of course), and let me tell you,I have found some great scents. Here are six of my favorites that you need in your life ASAP (and no, this is not an ad).

   1. Wildberry Jam Donut https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/wildberry-jam-donut-3-wick-candle-026242903.html

Honestly, this scent is amazing. It smells just like what the name implies: a jam donut. There is a balance between the notes of fruity jam and sweet cinnamon sugar crystals. This scent is quite sweet, so if that is not your cup of tea, I would not recommend. However, my roommate smelled this candle pre-burn and did not like it, but once lit, she fell in love with it. I would definitely recommend lighting this candle for a nice cozy day or night in, when you need some “me time,” or when you just want to add some more sweetness to your day or evening.

  1. Paris Cafe https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/paris-cafandeacute-3-wick-candle-026177073.html

If you love sitting at your local Starbucks or roaming around the nearest Barnes and Noble, this scent is for you. Just a warning, this scent is STRONG. I can smell the scent of coffee even when the lid is on.This candle has a few different notes in it: coffee, sugared brioche, and vanilla creme. I prefer the main scent of the coffee to the brioche and vanilla scents, but they all add to the end goal of making your space smell just like a cafe. 10/10 would recommend adding to create the ultimate academia-esque vibe. I’d recommend lighting this candle on a chilly morning when you want to feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and cozy. This is also a great scent for late-night study sessions, chaotic cramming for an exam, or winding down for a restful night.

  1. Cactus Blossom https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/cactus-blossom-3-wick-candle-024362006.html#q=cactus%2Bblossom&lang=en_US&start=12

I’ll be honest– I have no idea what a cactus blossom smells like, but this candle smells so pretty. It is a nice floral, yet beachy scent. One really cool thing about this candle is that it is decorated in a clear, hot pink glass. What’s also neat about this is that while the candle burns down, the glass will glow in a gorgeous hot pink color (cue Mitski’s song Pink in the Night). This candle would be ideal for a hot summer’s night, a refreshing day chilling inside once you get back from the beach, or a nice night in.

  1. Rose Vanilla https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/rose-vanilla-3-wick-candle-023918499.html#q=love&lang=en_US&start=11

This scent has been a fan favorite with everyone I have shown it to. You can really smell equal parts of the rose and vanilla scents. This candle is a part of Bath and Body Works’ “Aromatherapy” collection, and it smells oh-so good. The candle is said to promote feelings of self-confidence and compassion, along with relaxation. I lit this candle on Valentines Day and the scent filled the whole room. It is a very graceful and floral scent, almost like a delicate perfume. I would recommend lighting this candle on a nice date night with your partner, or for a relaxing candle-lit bubble bath where you can read a book or listen to a calming playlist.

  1. Gingerbread Marshmallow

This candle is one of my favorites of the ones I have listed but sadly, this a seasonal candle. I bought this candle for the winter time and I love it. There is so much attention to detail within the product design for this candle. The lid is engraved with a snowflake pattern, and the body of the candle itself is a pretty light blue color with a nice, wintery sheen to it. It smells exactly like gingerbread. While I do not get hints of marshmallow, the candle has notes of eggnog and brown sugar crystals, which creates a warm, winter/holiday atmosphere. My dad is not a fan of scented candles, but really enjoyed this scent. I would recommend lighting this candle on a nice, snowy evening in the winter time, or whenever you want to get into that holiday or winter spirit.

  1. Mahogany Teakwood https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/mahogany-teakwood-3-wick-candle-024362002.html#q=mahogany%2Bteakwood&lang=en_US&start=10

I saved this popular pick for last. Most people will know this timeless classic as the “boyfriend scented” one. I think it is strong, sharp, and elegant. It definitely reminds me of a black tie event, a moody jazz club, or an evening gala. I bought the “High Intensity” version of this scent for my boyfriend, and he loved it. So did I. This is a scent for any and all genders, it just depends if you’re into more musky, cologne-smelling scents or not. I’d recommend lighting this scent when you want to feel daring and fancy, or on a crisp, fall evening.

Overall, everyone has different tastes in what scents they prefer, but I hope this helped give you some ideas on some fun scents to add to your living space!
