Hit that block button.

In my opinion, the block button is probably the best feature on all social media platforms and on mobile devices. Unfortunately, when people choose to block people that have done them wrong or people who have negative posts, they are viewed as immature or toxic.

When a person is just getting out of a relationship, whether romantic or platonic, it can be hard to see posts all throughout your timeline of that person being happy with other people or sometimes even sending shade your way.

Blocking and removing people from your socials who no longer are in your life is HEALTHY and not immature. When you allow an ex or an ex-friend to continue to follow you on certain platforms, it allows them access into your life and gives them permission to hit you up as they please, causing all sorts of emotions to reenter your life.

Think of it like this: if there is a party with a lot of people and two people start fighting each other, what happens next? Those two people are escorted right out of the party because it is causing too much chaos and distracting everyone else from enjoying the party.

So, why can’t we just simply escort people out of our lives when they’re causing too much chaos and distraction from the happiness and positivity around us?

If blocking a certain person has even popped up in your head, then that is a sign to block and escort them away from your timeline and out of your life.
