Shows You NEED To Binge This Fall

My FAVORITE time of year is finally here! I am a lover of simple pleasures and one of my go-to’s during the fall is cozying up with my favorite blanket, lighting my vanilla pumpkin candle, and watching a comfort show while listening to the rain hitting against my window. Whether you’re the ultimate fall person or it’s your least favorite season, I promise you these shows will bring you all the cozy autumn vibes you need these next few months.

Gilmore Girls

This show IS fall. The wholesome plot revolves around an iconic mother-daughter duo and I’m not exaggerating when I say that every episode feels like a warm hug. I promise that watching it will make you want to turn Chico into your own Stars Hollow. You can watch it on Netflix!

The Vampire Diaries

I could watch this show over and over again. And then again after that. The supernatural themes are perfect for Halloween time, the romance tropes are top tier, and you will instantly fall in love with the cast. Plus, you and your roomies can have endless discussions about whether you’re Team Damon or Team Stefan! All eight seasons are available on Peacock and Max.

Friends

This classic sitcom, set in New York, is the perfect show for when you need a good laugh and it’s especially a great choice if you’re not a fan of lengthy episodes. If you don’t want to commit to all ten seasons, try watching all of the Thanksgiving episodes! They’re not only perfect for fall, but they’re outright iconic. All episodes can be watched on Max.

Gossip Girl

Also set in New York, this series features six seasons of high school and college drama, relationships, and pure entertainment. It’s inevitable that you’ll fall in love with at least one of the characters because there is no shortage of different personalities throughout the show. You can find all episodes on Max!

Pretty Little Liars

I figure it’s only appropriate to conclude this list with one last small-town-feel series, and it also happens to be my absolute favorite comfort show of all time. The plot revolves around four best friends haunted by the disappearance of their friend, Alison. If I could spend my fall anywhere, I would without a doubt choose the fictional town of Rosewood. All seven seasons are on Max!
