If you’re in any book communities on social media (especially book-stagram) you’ve probably seen the A-Z reading challenge. I have been seeing it since late last year, a lot of people were talking about starting it in the new year, but I didn’t. If you know me, you probably know I love reading challenges and readathons but I knew during the semester that I don’t make much time for my reading so I opted not to do it.
Fast forward to this summer, I was reading a lot more again. The challenge kept popping up on my feed and on my explore page and I was feeling a little left out. I decided to attempt it and try to keep up with it into my fall semester. I’m going to use it as a guide to keep me reading during the semester and so far it’s worked (granted it hasn’t been that long).
So, what is the A-Z reading challenge? It’s pretty much in the name, you read one book that starts with a letter from the alphabet. It also includes that you have to read a book where the title is only one word, a color in the title, a place in the title, and one with a number in the title. This is a total of 30 books to read, which is a lot. How I’m doing this is while I’m trying to read for letters I don’t have, I’m also not limiting myself to only reading that and if I don’t end up finishing, I’m not going to be too hard on myself because this is meant to help me continue reading during the school year no to stress me out.
So, you might have an interest in this challenge but you may be like me and have no idea what you want to read or can’t find certain letters, I have included a list of books to help!
