H&M Is Launching a Super Meaningful Collection Just in Time for Pride Month

Pride Month ā€“Ā aka a month dedicated to recognizing LGBTQĀ people across the globe ā€“Ā is right around the corner, and H&M is kicking us off strong by launching a Pride-themed capsule collection to celebrate, pointedly titled "Pride OUT Loud". You can shop the new line in stores and online starting May 31, so prepare to feel seen by the '70s designs, rainbows and messages of equality galore.

The most important thing to note here: This launchĀ isn't just something H&M is doing for show ā€“ it's entirely mission driven. ā€œH&M believes in everybodyā€™s right to love who they want,ā€ explained Andreas Lowenstam, the H&MĀ head of menā€™s wear design,Ā according toĀ WWD. ā€œWe hope people can use H&Mā€™s Pride collection to celebrate their belief in equal love.ā€ PREACH. AndĀ though H&MĀ did partner with the United Nations last yearĀ forĀ a similar, smaller collection, this campaignĀ isĀ the first that's entirely united in message, cause, and 100 percent H&M. Also, 10 percent of the proceeds from sale of these items will go to the United Nations Human Rights Office Free & Equal campaign, which we can definitely get behind.

The best news for those attending various Pride events throughout June? You can use H&M as a one-stop-shop for a completeĀ Pride outfit, since they've got you covered from head to toe consideringĀ the collection includes everything from T-shirts and shorts to socks and fanny packs.Ā
