Everyone Looked Iconic at the ‘Ocean’s 8’ Premiere, Obviously

Ocean’s 8, a spinoff of the Ocean’s trilogy that focuses on a heist at the Met Gala, has a cast made up of talented, powerful women, and we’re here for it. Honestly, it’s about time we start seeing more woman-driven movies because we’ve only been watching movies focused on men for approximately our entire lives. Honestly, we’re equally excited about the Ocean’s 8 premiere red-carpet looks because the cast—Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham-Carter and Awkwafina—looked beyond fab at the New York City premiere on June 5.

All of these women are amazing regardless of what they wear, but we also can’t get over how stylish they are. Check out each of their looks below.

Rihanna in Givenchy

Rihanna (of course) looked incredible in her glimmering, one-shoulder Givenchy dress with cascading ruffles. She was committed to her look, even matching her lipstick and nails with the purple dress. Like usual, we’re jealous of RiRi’s effortless style (and simultaneously wondering if we can pull off a ruffle-enriched dress ourselves).

Sarah Paulson in Prada

Sarah Paulson wore an incredible neon yellow dress, looking bold, bright and elegant all at the same time (seriously, how though?). She just made summer the official season of monochromatic neon color schemes. And we’re living for it.

Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab

Between the fluffy pseudo-shoulder pads and the elegant embellishment, we’re not sure what our favorite part of this gown is. (It’s probably Sandra Bullock.)

Cate Blanchett in Missoni

Of course, Cate Blanchett can pull off a sequin pantsuit.

Mindy Kaling in Prabal Gurung

Mindy Kaling’s glam accessories are enough to give us fashion FOMO, let alone that borderline iridescent onyx gown.

Anne Hathaway in Jean Paul Gaultier

And Anne Hathaway, clearly, rocks multiple patterns with ease.

Helena Bonham-Carter in Vivienne Westwood

While Helena Bonham-Carter’s look might seem like a simple black dress, the faint satin finish makes it anything but straightforward.

Awkwafina in Reem Acra

Something about @mindykaling that makes my eyes twinkle @oceans8movie #oceans8

The subtle blush on Awkwafina’s cheeks and temples complement the delicate but structured cut of her white gown.

Honestly, we can’t decide which of these soon-to-be classic ~looks~ we want to attempt (and probably fail) to recreate.
