The Worst Dressed of the 2013 Oscars

Every year, award shows bring together the fabulous, the beautiful, the unexpected, and unfortunately the ugly. Even amidst the beautiful gowns, there were some outfits that were unforgettably terrible. Here’s a list of the 10 worst dressed celebs at the Oscars this year.

This dress was a total miss for Les Mis actress, Helena Bonham Carter. Considering the contrast in color, there are way too many layers going on here. It looks as if she threw a few table cloths together and sewed them into a dress.

It seems as if Kelly Rowland’s dress wore her. The shelf-like top totally distracts from her face and the rest of the dress, making this gown a total miss.

Not only does this gown make Kristen Stewart look washed out, but also her posture in all of the photographs makes it even worse. Her hair doesn’t look Oscar-ready and this gown just didn’t suit her.

I’m all about sequins and Nicole Kidman, but this dress just doesn’t work. The design is way too busy and even though the sequins are fun, the details near her ribcage completely distract from how gorgeous the gown could be.

Jane Fonda looks wonderful at age 75, but a neon yellow dress in the winter doesn’t work for anyone, no matter what age you are. Not only is the highlighter-yellow dress blinding, but the detail towards her waist is very distracting, too.

Anne Hathaway committed a common fashion faux pas with this silky Prada gown. Let’s just say the seams don’t seem to be in all of the right places on this one.

Melissa McCarthy rocks and so does her clutch, but this dress just didn’t work for her. The material looked a little too casual and the dress just didn’t really seem chic or special. This look just doesn’t feel Oscar-appropriate.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Brandi Glanville was on the verge of a nip slip in this dress. With that being said, this look was a little too edgy in a bad way, making it a total miss on the red carpet.

Heidi Klum has a great body, but this dress just wasn’t flattering. The neckline was odd for her shape, and the back was a grey mesh that seriously clashed with the gold color of the dress.

Mark Ruffalo’s wife Sunrise Coigney looked ridiuculous in this dress. Not only do the seams and waistline look ridiculous, but the materials of the dress totally don’t go well together, making this dress a fail on the red carpet.

No matter what we can always count on the award shows to bring us the good, the bad, and the plain ugly. What were your least favorite outfits from the 2013 Oscars? Comment below!
