Hometown pride is important to every collegiette, and especially so when going to school out of state.  Maine tends to fly under the radar, but here’s the list of reasons it’s the way life should be.

1.  They have one area code for the entire state: The 207

2.  Lakes, rivers, and ponds are never hard to find.

 

3.  There are farms everywhere.

4.  Sometimes people lose their livestock.

5.  It’s a seafood paradise.
