The Latest Craze: Hot Dogs or Legs?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVWC chapter.

In today’s culture, we have a constant desire to update Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine to share with family and friends what we’re doing at all times. When sweet, sweet summertime rolled around, our news feeds and time lines were filled with the typical beach or poolside photographs posted by young women. Ladies—we’ve all probably been guilty of posting these types of pictures that feature our beautifully bronzed legs. Even though school is back in session and summer is slowly fading away, these photos have started a new craze. The hottest question of the week: hot dogs or legs?

You may be asking yourself, “Who would take the time to post pictures of hot dogs”? But this topic is in fact one that has caused lots of chatter in recent magazines such as Cosmopolitan and online blogs like Tumblr. We’ve even seen it splattered all over our very own social media! People are buzzing, but we want to know: is this is a stupid phase, or is this is a good, fun source of entertainment?

Don’t these photos make you question every beach picture you saw this summer? “Definitely hot legs,” or “Gotta be hot dogs”? You be the judge! Comment below and tell us what you think.
