A Timeline for Fall Fest

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

Time and time again, you think about the times you have had in college. Most make you laugh, some make you feel embarrassed, but in the end they are good. One of these many memories for a WVU student is Fall Fest, the biggest party of the year on the first day of classes.

First day of classes. But it’s 11 AM and you had a 9:30, guess that’s not happening.

But it’s syllabus week and and you remember the first class literally never counts for anything anyway, YES! And you get to shake your booty on the  Mountainlair green or frat row, to the musical festivities.

At this point it’s time to head out to your 11:30, where you will mull over the most crucial question of the day (apart from what you’re going to drink): crop top or dress?!

Your food comes out with just enough time to hear that 878th person in the Chick Fil-A line air their grievances about their 6pm chem. lab on Evansdale. Another reminder on your major choice, making you feel that much better that it’s not biology.

By 4:15, you’ve been mentally run through every dress choice imaginable. You’re out of that like classroom faster than Usain Bolt off the blocks, and nothing is standing in your way!

Soon the pregame has sufficiently turned into your game.

It’s time to make your way toward the Lair, where you will dance the night away with your girls or people you don’t know, or all of your university.
