Meet this week’s Campus Celebrity, Sara Love! She is an outgoing and hardworking student who is passionate about the fashion industry. She currently serves an active role in several university organizations while also maintaining her event planning role as a WVU Rent the Runway campus representative. She became a Rent the Runway campus representative during the Fall of 2013 and has continued to do an excellent job at planning and executing events and working with her team.
Q: What attracted you to work with this company?
A: I was attracted to RTR because I have a passion for fashion merchandising. This company is a growing business that will help me with my future while being extremely fun and exciting at the same time. I also enjoy it because it challenges me and gives me the chance to be surrounded by people who share the same passion as me.
Q: What roles do you have as the event planning rep and as part of a collaborative team?
A: As event coordinator I am in charge of any fundraiser or social that needs to take place by a certain date. As a team we all collaborate with each other’s ideas and make it happen.
Q:Has this internship gave you experience that will help with your future career?
A:Yes, this internship has been extremely beneficial to my future career and me. I have had the opportunity to meet and speak to many influential people who I admire in the fashion field.
