Pantone has announced 2014s Color of the Year last Thursday, December 5, and you can expect to see it everywhere in fashion and design. This captivating, magical, enigmatic purple that blooms with confidence and warmth is known as the Pantone color Radiant Orchid. Radiant Orchid is a mixture of fuchsia, pink, and purple undertones. It is a flattering color not only on women but men too because of the undertones that radiate on the skin. It is also the perfect hue for beauty and furniture. This color has been shown on Spring 2014 Fashion Shows from Juicy Couture and various other designers. You can expect this color to be prevalent in men and women’s accessories and clothing throughout the year. You can also expect this Color of the Year to be used commonly in beauty for brown eyed women because the Radiant Orchid color compliments brown colors exceptionally. You can also see this color complimenting olive and hunter greens, light yellows, turquoise, and teal. The last five years of color included Emerald (2013), Tangerine Tango (2012), Honeysuckle (2011), Turquoise (2010), and Mimosa (2009), so it was anticipated to select a color we have not seen in a long time. Radiant Orchid will also be paired with a multitude of colors to form the Spring 2014 Color Pallet!
