  2. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer diagnosed among women.

  3. Not only women can be diagnosed – men can, too! So check, check, check!

If you, a family member, or a close friend, have either been dianosed, survived, or lost their life to breast cancer (or you just want to support!), you should definitely check out your nearest Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event! I have been attending this event for years in celebration of my mother, Jackie Skidmore. I will be attending the Komen Central and South Jersey Race for the Cure on November 6th, 2016 on my team named, “Team Save the ‘Girls'” in celebration of my mother surviving Stage 2B breast cancer! My team helps to raise money for the event. All money raised go towards funding for breast cancer research across the country.

Hope to see you guys there!
