5 Ways to be Productive Over Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Finally: a whole month off… and you plan to spend all of that time binge-watching Netflix from your bed. Sure, you can claim, “Finishing all 6 seasons of Gossip Girl is productive,” but won’t you feel just a little guilty for spending all of break in your childhood bedroom? Here’s five things you can do to make this winter break a little more productive.

Your laptop has this wonderful ability to customize the size of your browser windows which means while watching Netflix, you can…

1. Find a few easy-but-healthy recipes to make your go-tos for next semester. Try searching “easy healthy recipes” or “best recipes for college students” on Pinterest.

2. Start researching summer jobs, or apply to openings for Spring semester.

3. Order your textbooks before you’re back on campus.

You can also set your laptop at optimal viewing angle from your closet and…

4. Go through all those clothes you left at home. Do you really need to keep that sweatshirt from 7th grade gymnastics camp?

5. Create a new workout schedule – and start it now!

Easy right? And you didn’t even have to push pause!
