It’s that time of year, Winthrop! No, I don’t mean finals week (although that is quickly approaching)! It is the time of year where Winthrop students all around realize they have a pretty decent surplus of Cafe Cash left…and not many ideas for how to spend it. Fear not! We’re bringing you some suggestions for how to spend that leftover money.
1. Give your Domino’s driver a nice tip.
It’s the least you can do, considering they are at Winthrop all the time now because they started to accept our Cafe Cash as a payment.
2. Buy a meal for the person behind you in line.
It gets rid of your Cafe Cash and warms your heart!
3. Get Starbucks merchandise
No, not necessarily for you…you can get ahead on your gifts for your fellow Starbucks-loving friends!
4. Buy giftcards
If you don’t want to spend all of your Cafe Cash on things you don’t think you need, invest in some giftcards from Subway or Starbucks! This is the sneaky way to not let your Cafe Cash expire.
5. Treat Yo’self
And your friends! Go ahead and splurge on that overpriced ice cream.
