This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wake Forest chapter.
Haleigh, junior, is studying abroad this semester in London, England. Her favorite place she has visited so far is Stonehenge. “At first, you look at it, and you’re like ‘Cool. Rocks.’ Then you look at it some more. Then some more. And then you start to feel it. The power of this five thousand year old structure. There were some people meditating on the outskirts of the site. So I decided to join them. I’ve meditated in my Psychology 151 class, but this was on a whole other level. You could feel in your gut that this site was bigger than life itself.”
