Why did you choose VCU?
Just like most people here, I really like the diversity of the university. I like how the campus has an urban feel and everybody here is different. It’s like you should expect the unexpected. That’s what really drew me to this school.
What do you look for in a girl?
I look for someone who is goofy, for some reason I don’t get along with people who take life to seriously. As long as your cool and we get along, you’re fine with me…and obviously attractive.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Jhene Aiko is my wife lol.
How did you get involved with Track?
I got involved with track, as just an off season sport for basketball. Then, it led to me becoming the top sophomore in my state in my event by accident. I honestly didn’t know I was that fast, but I guess when you lace me up, I am a different person.
What do you plan to do after college?
Grad school, then become a counselor.
Who is your greatest influence?
My father
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go and why?
I would go to any spanish-speaking country–Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, etc. I love their heritage and the food.
If you met your 13-year-old self, what advice would you give to him?
I wouldn’t tell him anything. I like the way my life is going right now.
