Disney Channel can seem very juvenile at times, but once October hits the best part of fall begins; Octoberfest. For those who do not know what Octoberfest is, it’s when Disney Channel plays Halloween shows and movies for the entire month of October. This is the time where majority of college students and some adults become kids all over again! Here are a couple must see for the Disney Halloween season.
1. Halloweentown 1, 2, 3 and 4
Halloweentown is a childhood Halloween classic that everyone loves. They are festive, fun, and even a little creepy at times. It never gets old, and some of us find ourselves watching it over and over again.
2. Twitches 1 and 2
Twitches is a great movie about twin sisters turned witches, hence the title of the movie. Cute? I know. It is a little more modern than our classic Halloweentown, but it is most definitely a must see. I even find myself turning into a little girl trying out a couple of the spells.
3. Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus has been around forever. It is that movie even adults find themselves watching time after time after time. It is a fun movie that gets you into the Halloweentown spirit. There are even a couple catchy little songs you may find yourself singing.
4. The Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion is a bit more “Scooby Doo” spooky then the previous movies named above. You have things popping up, creeping around, looking through things, and Eddie Murphy gives you some good laughs as well.
Go ahead and light your pumpkin scented candles, pop some popcorn, and watch one or all of these movies. Remember, no one is too old for Octoberfest!
