What are you involved in at UVA?
I love volunteering through Madison House. Currently, I’m tutoring elementary school students in Math at Jackson Via Elementary school. In the past I worked with preschoolers at Chancellor Preschool on University Avenue. This is also my second semester with VISAS (Volunteers with International Students, Staff, and Scholars) as a language consultant. Through this program, I’ve met several great individuals with unique cultural backgrounds. I’m also a member of the Pre-Pharmacy Society here.
How would you describe your personal style?
I honestly wear whatever I want. I take lots of inspiration from street fashion blogs, magazines, and Instagram. I don’t go for bold or crazy, but I’m willing to experiment and invest in statement pieces every so often. I tend to gravitate more towards low-key & effortless looks.
What is your favorite piece of clothing for the fall season?
Knit sweaters and my floral Doc Martens. I’ve had my Doc Martens since my sophomore year of high school… Just like me, they get better with age ;)
