“And the chaos within me found balance”

HC: Campus Involvement

CG: I am currently in pre dental society club, biology diplomats and HER Campus! These clubs are allowing me to get connections and meet my peers with common goals, especially in the pre dental society.

HC: Something people may not know about you:

CG: I cannot wait to grow up and help people with my profession that is was pushes me everyday, helping others more than even the thought of the rewards of the profession. Since I was 11 I knew this {dentistry} is what I wanted to do.

HC: Role Model:

CG: my mom, she’s so strong yet so kind.

HC: What superpower would you want and why?

CG: I want to be able to see into the futures so I can see what I need to change or improve in the present.

HC: 5 words to describe you

CG: sassy, blunt sometimes, thoughtful, active, driven

HC: 3 ways someone can win over your heart?

CG: being funny, adventurous, & if they treat me like I am supposed to be treated!

HC: Celeb Crush

CG: The Weeknd

HC: What is one thing you are grateful for?

CG: I am so grateful for my family. I can always share anything with them and they always have great advice. Sometimes we may share a little to much between each other but that is just because we are so close and tight.

HC: What do you want to be remembered for?

CG: I want to be remembered for all the free dental work I am able to accomplish both in my community and in Bolivia

HC: What are you an advocate of?

CG: I am a huge advocate for self-love. Women need to love and respect themselves because if they don’t love and respect themselves who else will?? Women need to hold themselves up on a pedestal and this is also why I do not deal with mean guys who do not treat girls how they should be treated.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

CG: In 20 years I see myself with my own practice and an additional free clinic in Bolivia to provide well trained dentistry over there as well. That way, I would help other professionals who unfortunately do not make as much income and it would also help the people of Bolivia who can not afford health care.

HC: What is your favorite article you’ve written for HC UTSA?

CG: Ways to bounce back from a bad semester/year
