Dear future Husband,
I would like to apologize in advance. I know I have my moments, like when my mom is on my case or when I am experiencing extreme hunger. I’m sorry for my constant closet explosions whenever I try to get ready, my constant need to snuggle you, my inability to not pet every dog I see, and for my obsession with reality t.v. and snacks, preferably at the same time. And yes, you guessed it, I’m writing this letter as I finish off yet another bag of chips and salsa.
I know you will be prepared for my adventurous side, my dreams, my appetite and my loud singing just as I will be prepared for your fascination of the stars, your gym routine and your obsession with turkey sandwiches. I know we will be captived by each and every quick and habit the other just can’t seem to grow out of.
I also want to thank you. Not only for finding me, but also keeping me, and letting me keep you. Thank you for telling me I’m right when my mom is on my case, and feeding me when I am hangry. Thank you for being by my side and making me finally understand what people are talking about when they say, “It’s more than love”.
I promise I will leave you love notes and never forget to give you kisses, as long as you kill the spiders and never forget to give me hugs. I will always love you more than yesterday, but never more than tomorrow. I believe in fate. And I believe that you will not only be my perfect match, but you will also fill the pieces of my half-completed puzzle.
I am waiting for the day I am with my other half, and when you make me feel extraordinary in the most ordinary of circumstances, and I hope, I can do the same for you. But in the meantime, I will love myself and prepare to meet and love you and only you, because a love that will be as amazing as ours is left for just two in a million.
