Our top 5 items from the HerCampus survival kit

At Monday’s meeting, USFSP Her Campus members received items from our survival kit. We got products that can, and have, been used by the everyday college student. Here are my top five items:

1. TRESemmé Perfectly (un)done Sea Salt Spray and Wave Creation Sea Foam- These are my favorite items so far. My hair is super curly and these two products did wonders for my hair. Instead of my usual kinky curls, they were loose and flowy. I’m sure it would work better on straight hair because that’s what they recommend it for. This is great for USFSP students because it’s a quick way to style your hair after rolling out of bed 5 minutes before class starts.

2. 5-hour Energy- This comes in second based off it’s usefulness to all college kids. With midterms approaching, this energy boost will be much needed.

3. Cold-EEZE Cold & Flu- The survival kit also contained packages of Cold-EEZE, which couldn’t have come at a better time. With the stress of five classes, my immune system has not been doing it’s job. Just one of the QuickMelts helps fight any stress-induced cold you may catch this semester.

4. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter swivel stick and N.Y.C.’s waterproof eyeshadow- These two tied for 4th place, mostly because they work great together. Both will come in handy for all USFSP students. After a long day kayaking at the waterfront or going downtown for First Friday, these two products will be all used up before the end of the semester. The cocoa butter will help heal your dried out skin from the sun, while your waterproof eyeshadow will keep you looking cute all day long.

5. BOGO Chipotle- I think this one speaks for itself. What college kid doesn’t like free food??
