Throwback Thursday: Breakfast at Tiffany’s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USF chapter.

Based off of Truman Capote’s novel, the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” premiered in 1961 and has been a classic ever since. It is a particularly iconic role for Audrey Hepburn, who played main character Holly Golightly, a woman caught up in her fantasy life. Not only is the film beloved, but so is Audrey’s classic style. This Throwback Thursday, be inspired by her timeless elegance.

Fashion

Channel your inner Audrey with modern pieces, all under $50.  This look works as a classy Halloween costume, or (sans tiara and cut outs) a polished internship ensemble.

Beauty

Holly Golightly’s makeup look is relatively simple. Winged liner and false lashes add drama, while nude lipstick, defined brows, and matte eyeshadows are everyday basics.
