Happy 4th of July, collegiettes™!

Celebrate our country’s independence with the following four activities:

1. Shop the sales.

Stores always have decent sales during holidays and Independence Day is no exception. If you would rather lounge around in your house, shop online where sometimes the sales are even better. But if online shopping isn’t your thing and you really want to get out today, brave the crowds at the shopping mall. I’m sure you’ll score on some major deals and have tons of fun too.

2. Sun, swim, smile.

Head to the beach or the pool today. Florida heat seems unending, but there are plenty of easy ways to cool off. Don your swimsuit and pack a bag with essentials for a fun day in the sun. Bring your music speakers with you and have an outside dance party. I bet strangers will join in too!

3. Food, of course!

Have a cookout or picnic with family and friends to celebrate. A BBQ is perfect for today! Just head to your local grocery store and pick up the classics to grill like hamburgers and hotdogs. You’ll be full and happy by the end of the day. Also, check out 7 Festive Fourth of July Recipes for delicious ideas!

4. Find the fireworks.

The best way to end your day on the 4th of July is to find some fireworks outside to enjoy. Whether you head to the beach or other locations, fireworks are necessary for today. You can even buy some yourself. Just be careful.

Above all, have fun collegiettes™!
