5 Tips for Job Hunting

If you’re a senior, chances are you’re either a) set and have a job lined up after you graduate, or most likely b) totally freaking out about what you’re going to do.

Relax, you’re not alone!

Here are some tips to get you started!

  • Sign up for your school’s weekly list servs. These are compiled lists of jobs particular to your major.
  • Go to the career center. They’ll help you with your resume and preparing for your interviews.
  • Sign up at ConnectSC – your portal to jobs, internships and recruiting!
  • Check out On-Campus Recruiting. After signing up on ConnectSC, you can participate in this program that allows you to interview with recruiters right on campus!
  • Go to Internship Week – all this week.
Merisenda Bills is a senior majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at USC. She is double minoring in Digital Studies and Interactive Media and the Culture of New Technologies. She is also in the Honors in Multimedia Scholarship Program.
