Tarteist Pro Palette: My Honest Review

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

The “Tarteist Pro” pallete is the pallete that I never knew I needed or wanted. While I’m not a huge makeup person (as in I don’t have all the best and newest makeup), I do watch a lot of YouTubers review new and high-end makeup. Honestly, I’ve heard nothing about this!

Last Christmas, my sister-in-law gave me the “Tartelette in Bloom” pallete, and I was instantly in love. My Urban Decay “Naked” pallete went quickly to the back burner which is surprising because, even though, both of these two have only 12 shades, the “Naked” pallete has a larger range of warm and cool shades. My little “Tartelette in Bloom” pallete, though, had just better shadow quality in my opinion. The shimmer shades didn’t result in glitter all over my face, and the matte shades went on so smoothly and blended perfectly. Another thing about Tarte shadows is that the formula is made with cocoa powder so it smells like you are putting CHOCOLATE on your eyelids!!!!

With my already established love of Tarte shadows, you can imagine I was estatic to receive this new pallete in our HerCampus Holiday Survival kits!! The pallete is a beautiful matte black with a gold bottom half. It’s larger than the “In Bloom” as it has 20 shades instead of 12; 16 mattes and 4 shimmers. The mattes range in browns and reds. The shimmers range from deep brown, to gold to grey.

I’M IN LOVE! I’ve been using this pallete daily, and I’ve discovered so many different looks with it! I would highly recommend it. I think ultimately “Tartelette in Bloom” is still my all-time favorite, but I think the “Tarteist Pro” brings a much wider range and possibility for more looks.
