Hey Her Campus readers!  If you like fishing, boating, and getting dirty (like mud volleyball dirty, you jokers..), this week’s “Campus Cutie” might just be your guy!  Read on to find out more about him, or just visit his Twitter page by clicking on the link above.

HC: What do you like to do in your free time; any hobbies/interests?
Luke: I spend most of my time in the library, but when I’m not in there I try to get a workout in and play a little bit of guitar.  Now that summer’s almost here I’ll golf, wakeboard, and road trip with the guys.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Luke: I really want to move back to where I’m from to try and stay as close to my family as I can, as well as be a dentist in a small town.  I plan on being married and having a bunch of kids, and I’ve already got the place picked out where I want to build a house.

HC: Describe your dream girl, or what you look for in a girl.
Luke: A lady in the street but a…
Just kidding.  But honestly, a girl that’s family oriented, is strong spiritually, and understands my sense of humor are a must.  Being athletic is a big thing too.  If her idea of a good night is a 6 pack and gravel roads, I’m sold.  Can’t be afraid to get her hair messy, MEANING she’s down to get outside of the boat and up on the wakeboard, tries catching her own fish, wants to ride around in the tractor, is down for mud volleyball—things like that.

HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why?
Luke: I’ve said for a long time that I want to go to Bora Bora, preferably for my honeymoon. Those little cabins, all-alone out on that water with no phones, TV, or internet?  Doesn’t get much better than that.

HC: If you could change something about yourself, would you? And what would it be?
Luke: I wish I could sing. I’m so awful. There are only a few people who can really attest to how bad it is, but I’m telling you, it’s hard on the ears.

HC: Any pet peeves?
Luke: People that overuse “literally,” or use it wrong.  Might wanna check that out in the dictionary. Tangled headphone cords.

HC: What’s your worst fear?
Luke: Being unsuccessful.

HC: We’ve all had embarrassing moments… Care to share any of yours?
Luke: I honestly can’t think of one right off the top of my head. I hate being embarrassed more than most people so I try to take whatever precautions necessary to avoid it. I guess one time I was eating dinner with a girl and her parents, and her Mom gave me some bruschetta bread, absolutely loaded with tomatoes. I can’t stand tomatoes at all, but I wasn’t about to say no. So of course I ate it all before her Mom got word that I hated them. She ended up telling her Mom and they gave me a hard time about it for a while. Hardly embarrassing, but that’s all I have.

HC: Favorite music or band/artist?
Luke: I’m all over the place here; depends on the mood.  Most of the time it’s country: Eric Church, Luke Bryan, etc.  Sometimes it’s R&B and hip hop: Frank Ocean, Drake, Miguel.  If it’s not them it’s Dave Matthews Band, Third Eye Blind, or Mike Posner. Lately Justin Timberlake has been playing pretty much non-stop.

HC: Summer is soon approaching!  Any exciting plans this year?
Luke: I live on a farm, so every summer I go back home and work there.  I’ll job shadow some, go to the lake a lot, golf, and spend as much time with my family as possible.  Also, hit up as many country music concerts as I can.  County fair concert season is the best.

HC: And of course I have to ask, what’s your favorite part of being a Husker?
Luke: Game days in Lincoln.

Okay, think fast!

Favorite food: Steak
Celeb crush: Umm..Megan Fox? She’s still hot right?
Favorite movie: Dumb and Dumber or Blow
Biggest turn off: Smoking
Superpower: Being able to read minds
