This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

The red carpet, glamorous fashion, and the hottest music artists can mean only one thing: The Grammy Awards. Last Sunday, the Staples Center in Los Angeles held the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J.

FASHION SPOTLIGHT
The red carpet was filled with the hottest music artists, all glammed out in gorgeous designer gowns, suits, shoes and jewelry. Here are the top five best dressed.

Rihanna won the best dressed celeb at the Grammys in a custom red Azzedine Alaia and Neil Lane jewelry.

Number two was Carrie Underwood. She modeled a jaw-dropping $31 million worth of Johnathon Arndt jewelry with her stunning Roberto Cavalli gown.
Carrie also looked fabulous during her performance of her hit, “Blown Away,” and her latest single, “Two Black Cadillacs.” Different images were projected onto her ivory Theia dress.

Country singer Taylor Swift made the best dressed list at number three with a very expensive look. Taylor appeared in a J. Mendel gown, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

Katy Perry, placing fourth for best dressed, walked the red carpet in a revealing mint green Gucci gown.

Number five best dressed was mother of twins, Jennifer Lopez. She wore a leg-baring Anthony Vaccarello dress with Tom Ford shoes, Norman Silverman jewelry, and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
