We all love going home for the weekend and getting a break from the stress of school. Some of the perks of going home include home cooked meals, seeing high school friends, spending time with your dog and probably leaving with a few more bucks than you arrived with. But the one thing I’m sure we can all agree that we hate is the constant questions our family members ask us, every time we go home. Will it ever stop? Who knows.
You walk in the door and everyone is excited to see you.
You finally get to eat your first real meal in months.
Telling every member of that family that, yes, you are still single.
Struggling to try and take the perfect picture with your family pet.
You probably get asked “So, how’s school going?” at least 100 times.
What are my goals for after graduation? Simple.
Finally getting to see your best friend from high school again.
Facetiming your friends from college while they’re out without you.
But, as great as it was seeing your family again, you can’t wait to get back to your friends at college.
