9 Emotions You Have Now That Midterms Are Over

1.  Relief that you no longer have to deal with the stress of classes for one week now that midterms are over.

2. Happiness that you probably passed most of your exams. 

3. Sadness for the ones that you didn’t. 

4. Grateful that you still have half of a semester to bring up your grades.

5. Slaphappy knowing that aside from all of the stress you have had to endure you somehow managed to come out on top in some, or most, of your classes.

6. Tired that you have spent all week studying instead of sleeping.

7. Hungry because you didn’t have time to eat because you prioritized studying over food. 

8. Excitement for spring break and that all of your hard work is rewarded with a break. 

9. Jealousy that some people are taking a vacation while you are stuck working. 

But regardless of everything you are still happy knowing that you do not have to put up with any more midterms and you know that even final exams aren’t even as stressful as midterm week. Now go out and enjoy your spring break because you deserve it.

 

I may never win a Pulitzer, but I will be doing something that makes me happy and I would not change that.
