Animation Station: “Safe and Sound” by Capital Cities
Meet buddies “Safe” and “Sound” in this quirky cool lyric video. The pals adventure in a musical world of psychedelic proportions. As I mentioned 2 blogs ago, Capital Cities, the Los Angeles electro-dance duo, are currently touring with Australian pop group, Gold Fields. Although Chicago does not claim a spot on their tour list, keep your fingers crossed they appear on the Lollapalooza lineup! Until then, enjoy their video for “Safe and Sound” below.
UK Cool: Ed Sheeran & Passenger Mashup
Two smooth Brits hit all the right harmonies in their acoustic and seamless mashup. The talented men are no strangers to jamming together, having shared a tour last year when Passenger (Mike Rosenberg) opened for Sheeran. Check out their soulful rendition of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” & Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop”! Now, back to studying!
