11 Thoughts You Have When Watching Tasty Videos

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

If you have a Facebook, chances are that you have at least scrolled past some sort of recipe video, and it was most likely one from Tasty. You know, those aesthetically-pleasing recipe videos created by BuzzFeed that leave you hungry even though you just had lunch less than an hour ago.

One minute, you’re casually scrolling through pictures of your friends and family on Facebook, and, the next minute, a video on how to make strawberry cheesecake-stuffed pound cake shows up on your feed. How do you keep scrolling after that? Of course, you have to watch it, so you sit there and practically drool on your phone. Next thing you know, you’ve navigated to Tasty’s homepage, and you’re stuck watching recipe videos for an hour.

Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us.

Here are the 11 thoughts that go through your head while you watch Tasty videos.

1. *Casually scrolling through Facebook* Oh my gosh, there’s a new Tasty video up.

2. I must find out what they’re making.

3. Who’s magical hands are these that make this amazing food?

4. This background music is completely random, but I love it.

5. Seriously, how are these people so good at making food?

6. They’re going to have a ton of dishes to do after this.

7. I wish it only took one minute and 15 seconds to make that in reality .

8. *Drooling* Yep, the close-up shot at the end always gets me.

9. The “oh yes!” at the end of every video kinda creeps me out though, not gonna lie.

10. Hm, this would be the fourth Tasty video I’ve shared this week…should I still share it?

11. Ok, time to go get some food.

Next time you are scrolling through Facebook, and you see a Tasty video, know that you are not alone in your obsession for them. Now, get out there and try out those recipes, collegiettes!
