Campus Cutie: Alex Gonzalez

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

1.Tell me about yourself! Where you were born, what year you are at UCLA, do you have any pets…or anything else the world needs to know!

My name is Alex Gonzalez, original name Alexis but got confused in elementary schools by others frequently asking me “isnt that a girls name?” everytime I would introduce myself lol. Born in 93, I am a third year sociology major at the best skewl evar! Im interested in getting a pet snake soon, too gross?

2. If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be and why? And yes, I know humans are technically animals, but that answer is off limits!

I would fersure be some type of mythology animal/creature, like being one of those flying Pegasus horses things would be clutch for obvious reasons.

3. What is your favorite spot to hang out/relax at UCLA?

I really love to hangout in the sculpture garden whenever possible, it really is an underhyped spot on campus.

** Try and go at night sometime, its always usually empty and super serene and all.

4. What music are you listening to right now?

I am currently listening to Glory Box by Portishead atm, however I am into all types such as r&b, rap, deep house, and trip-hop styles of music. It kind of depends on my mood

5. When did you first start doing Unicamp and what was the most fun part about it?

I applied in March and the training started first week of Spring Quarter all the way till before camp. There were a ton of fun moments, I think the most fun one was the last day of camp, returning to UCLA with all my session members and raging face after being with them in the woods for 7 days in a treacherous battlefield of bears and sassy kids up the yin yang. (Yes, there was actually real live bear intrusion during lunch one day!).
