I don’t have an “ideal date” because I like to go wherever the date takes me in the moment.
What attracts you in a partner?
Personality above everything! This person must have kindness, selflessness, and have a great sense of humor. Pretty eyes and a cute smile are a huge plus.
Would you rather kiss someone who tastes like pizza or strawberries?
I’d rather kiss someone who tastes like strawberries!
What’s one of the greatest things you have accomplished at UCI (and no, campus cutie does not count)?
One of the greatest things I have accomplished at UCI so far is Circle of Fifths. Being a part of UCI’s premiere all-male a cappella group has given me so many incredible performance opportunities, including opening for UCI’s 2014 Commencement Ceremony featuring President Obama! Being at that event and singing for over 40,000 people at the Angel Stadium was truly unbelievable! In general, this group has taught me so much about singing in an ensemble. I now not only have a greater appreciation for a cappella music, but for all kinds of music as well.
What’s one of the strangest things that has happened to you in college?
One of the strangest things that has happened to me in college is getting recognized by random people on campus for being in Circle! They come up to me like, “Oh hey! Are you in Circle of Fifths?” And I say, “Yes I am!” And voila! A conversation is started and a new friendship is made. It’s the experience of getting stopped by strangers that’s still weird to me, but I do love it and appreciate it so much
If you could have lunch with anyone in the universe, who would it be and why?
If I could have lunch with anyone in the universe it would be Beyoncé. No explanation necessary.
If you were given the opportunity to travel/live anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
I’ve always wanted to go to Europe! Particularly either France or the UK. (France for the romance and the UK for the music). But at some point I would love to live in either New York or San Francisco.
Where do you see yourself in 6 years?
In six years, I honestly don’t know where I see myself! I feel like I am constantly changing as a person, and with that, still exploring myself and finding out which art form that I involve myself in makes me the happiest. All I know is that I HAVE to create something that inspires people and affects the world in a positive way.
How does it feel being this week’s campus cutie?
Being this week’s campus cutie makes me feel cuter than ever! I’m so flattered and honored and excited and overwhelmed! It feels great!
