This week’s campus cutie goes to French senior golfer: Joel Stalter
Stalter hails from Amneville, France where he attended INDP High School. While in high school, Stalter besides being a fantastic golfer was also a gymnast. In 2010, Stalter joined the Cal Bear Golf team as a newly admitted freshmen.
Throughout his career here at CAL, Stalter has achieved some major awards and honors. He received the All-West Region award, the All-Pac-12 award, and was placed number 49 on the R&A world ranking.
Besides playing golf for the Golden Bears, Stalter is also a golf member of the French National team. Incroyable!! (French for amazing)
Currently, Stalter is majoring in business in Cal’s Haas School of Business. He stated that the reason he chose Cal is because he wanted to balance school and golf all at the same time while still getting a great education
On why he loves golf: “it is the most exciting and complicated game, and it’s also very challenging and always provides me with the aspiration to get better”.
