Tell me a bit about Boohoo Style Squad:
Boohoo is one of the fastest-growing international e-tailers. However, its main base is located in the U.K. I think the point of the style squad is not only to spread knowledge of the Boohoo brand in the United States, but to help college students, like my Boohoo style squad partner and me, to express our fashion knowledge with the resources from a growing brand.
What has the Boohoo experience been like for you?
Since starting my own blog, I found an interest in the entrepreneurial sector of fashion. I think that being the social media manager for Boohoo has given me that mix of both worlds. Because I was one of the starting members of the Boohoo Style Squad, it was definitely kind of a start-up like experience (getting followers, pushing events).
What trends are you looking forward to this spring?
Like most girls, I love the fall because I get more leniency with what I can wear and it’s the perfect time to mix and match pieces between the four seasons. But, I am excited to see more sneakers and sandals. Im an avid sneakers fan. I think the perfect pair of shoes can really make an outfit, especially in the summer when there is so little you can actually wear outside of one or two pieces without dying in the heat.
What is your go-to outfit?
Right now it’s a black turtleneck, black jeans, and my Pointy-toed Chelsea boots. In the Spring, I think ill definitely be wearing more of my leather shorts, a tee, my snakeskin Michael Kors sandals, and my Indiana Jones look-alike hat.
