Same Dress, Different Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Penn chapter.

Same Dress, Different Day“Why again don’t you wear the same dress twice?” Now there’s a question that has baffled men for ages. We’ve all made half-hearted attempts to explain why we just don’t want to wear the same dress in photographs, but come to think of it, why don’t we? It takes more time and effort to think of a way to completely transform our look but Penn senior Nikoletta Georgalis has so skillfully mastered this feat. She shows us how to rock the same dress for two very different occasions.

Nikoletta fabulously worked this navy blue Bonita Back Maxi Dress from Free People this past summer at a Greek wedding. Georgalis paired it with vintage silver studs and a beaded bracelet from a boutique in Claremont, and completed the look with a sharp pair of black heels from Her sister’s closet.

This lovely fashionista wore the same dress a few months later to The Mask and Wig Annual Charity Ball. Her hair up in a classy bun, Georgalis gives the dress a chic appearance with black dangly earrings from a street market in Greece and simple black flats from H&M. For the wedding she went for a soft color scheme, but went for bold, smoky eyes at the ball. Classy, simple, and stunning. Thanks for sharing your secrets, Nikoletta!
